Verdict
Lean Machine ran poorly the last time he raced at this level and it was disappointing that Officer In Command couldn't hold off the attentions of Edgeworth in a claimer at Lingfield last week as he was better treated at the weights. In contrast, MIDNIGHT STRIDER finished a respectable second to Dubai Miracle in a similar contest last time, despite the unfavourable terms, and a repeat effort in this company should see him back to winning ways. Plush and Stand Guard remain out of form and the rest look up against it.
