Verdict
Hartford Starts has never won and is 2lb out of the handicap but this is a poor contest and he ran well on his last start here in November. COMPETENT is also a maiden but has been getting closer and was only caught in the dying strides in a maiden over the track and trip earlier this month. A mark of 68 can enable him to get off the mark. Percys Princess is tried in blinkers after a very long losing spell but she's still 5lb higher in the ratings than her only victory here in 2014. Yorkindred Spirit is 9lb higher than her victory here in September while Gabrial The Terror, who completed a four-timer on the track early last year and is 10lb lower than his last victory, has run poorly since reappearing in January.
