In depth

Verdict

HAVANA ROCKET (NAP) made a winning return at Newcastle having undergone wind surgery since last in action. He landed the odds with the minimum of fuss when beating the subsequent dual winner Solar Park over two lengths and there looks more to come now handicapping for the first time. Multamis ended last year with a handicap success over track and trip in October and is 3lb higher on his return having been gelded during the interim while Self Assessment has also been gelded since last year having won over 7f here in August. Assimilation steps up in distance after going close over 7f at Chelmsford and Wanaasah was narrowly beaten over a longer distance in novice company here recently.
