After The Rain found a lesser-fancied stablemate too good at Southwell but this extra distance should suit the Godolphin filly. GIA DARLING got involved in an early tussle for the lead when finishing third over track and trip last time and may have paid the price in the closing stages. She still had the measure of Luckyboylovelywife and Go Beyond and the Gosdens’ filly gets another chance. Three Priests is fitted with a hood on her belated reappearance but the newcomer Corsini is a full sister to a Listed winner and worth a second look.
