Verdict
Herodotus won a claimer before placing over today’s trip at Bath but Ray's The One was still beaten nine lengths when second of six at Catterick. Nikolayeva went close over 1m4f at Ripon last time while Anno Lucis and Machios are others that may improve for today’s longer trip but that also applies to FIVEANDTWENTY. The latter made a winning start in handicaps when successful at Ripon on her comeback and this looks no tougher despite a rise in the weights.
