      Verdict

      LICENCE TO TILL is taken to back-up his recent success at the main expense of Quaker Parrot and Transfixed. Mark Johnston has got his string in good form and Licence To Till could not have been more impressive at Lingfield last week when he beat Christmas Coming. He had previously gone close in a nursery and back in a nursery today he is fancied to score again. Quaker Parrot ran a sound race behind Mass Rally here last month and she looks sure to give a good account of herself today. Transfixed was behind her on that occasion and it is hard to see the form being reversed today. Wellmarked won his maiden last time out and he looks to be on an upward curve, although it remains to be seen how well treated he is for his nursery debut. There are plenty in with chances here but the vote goes the way of Licence To Till.
