Bawaardi has just the one win in 16 starts on the all-weather and was a well beaten fourth at Southwell last time. This is tougher than the plating races One Way Or Another has won recently and he'll need to find a bit more, while Stevie Gee is weighted to reverse earlier running at Lingfield with Ezra Church and has since run well again at Southwell. However, KINGSWINFORD comes out best on today's terms and a repeat of his third in a tougher claimer over C&D in October should be good enough to land this contest.
