        Verdict

        GIOS LAST followed a win at Kempton with victory in an amateurs' race over track and trip last time. The hat-trick beckons in this with Megan Nicholls' allowance reducing a penalty. Nouvelle Ere is also chasing a treble having landed a couple of low grade events over shorter distances while Nora Batty finally showed some worthwhile form on her first start over 1m4f when third at Lingfield. Quite Sparky can make the frame again but has not won a race since 2011.
