        Verdict

        Scottish River is a horse in form and gets the vote to gain the hat-trick at the main expense of Scamperdale and Summer Lodge. Mark Usher's gelding has hit a bit of a purple patch of late and only had to be pushed out to score on Tuesday. Hayley Turner gets on very well with the eight-year-old and he can rack up a quick hat-trick of course and distance wins today. Holiday Cocktail is 3lbs above his highest winning mark however he was well held when second last time out and is held by the selection on a line through the reliable yardstick Harare. Scamperdale has to be produced late and wasn't beaten far last time out so if he gets the splits he needs today he should go close. My Michelle disappointed last time out but has place claims if forgetting that last run, whilst General Feeling looks the pick of the Mullineaux pair. A trappy race, but Scottish River is in form and gets the nod.
