Verdict
Peter Grayson does well with his lower-rated string and he can take this with Spirit Of Coniston, who can prove too good for stablemate Primarily, El Potro and Monte Major. The selection has a 7lb pull with Monte Major for a two and a half length defeat here last time and that can see him reverse the placings. He acts well over the trip and the slightly slower ground should prove no problem and we take him to come good again. Primarily was a winner last time at Kempton and has gone well around here before. However, he has never won as high as this lowly level and it must be doubtful that he can run the same sort of race twice so we will oppose. El Potro has not yet tasted success and just seems to be tapped for toe at the business end. He could again make the frame, but preference is for Spirit Of Coniston to take the prize.
