        Verdict

        NAUTICAL HAVEN has only won on Turf but he's been running very well on Polytrack in recent weeks, the latest in a much better race at Lingfield, and providing he takes to this surface he can go one better. Upavon has a tremendous record, winning eleven of his 55 starts including six on Polytrack. He's never won here but has gone close on several occasions and must rate a threat. Jacob's Pillow is having his 58th start but has never run here though has two victories at Southwell to his credit. He's having his first start since October while at the other end of the weight scale Afandem hasn't run since September though ran in much stronger company last summer and has changed stables. Rose Berry will have come on for her recent run and looks best of the remainder.
