      Verdict

      Veteran Red Cape has been winding back the clock lately, running Top Kop to a short-head over 6f here before scoring over course and distance in a handicap earlier this month. He's every chance of following up in this claimer but we just prefer the younger COME ON DAVE, who arguably beat a more competitive field in one of these last month and just appear to have the beating of Ruth Carr's charge on a line through runner-up Haadeeth. Speightowns Kid hasn't raced since December and Lady In Blue ran a shocker at Ripon 11 days ago.
