Verdict

VERTIGO ON COURSE looks capable of reaching dizzier heights than this judged by his Yarmouth victory and is preferred to Hold The Star and Another Decree. Richard Fahey is enjoying the finest season of his career and Freddie Tylicki holds the lead in the race for leading apprentice and they have decent claims of notching another winner with Vertigo On Course. Connections resisted the temptation to turn the gelding out quickly following his latest win suggesting that they feel that he's capable of overcoming an 8lb rise following his winning debut for the yard and he should be followed. Another Decree has proved frustrating to follow but has been in fair form of late and is very attractively treated whilst Hold The Star has a little more to prove but she did run her best race at this track in May and hasn't many miles on the clock. Inside Story is capable of featuring, Funky Monkey may have more in the locker as may Arashi who went well last time whilst Cheers For Thea has impressed on both visits here but it's hard to get away from Vertigo On Course.
