In depth

Verdict

He's A Rocket is at the top of his game at present and can land the hat-trick this afternoon, Summer Recluse and Polar Force appear to be the main dangers. Karl Burke's four-year-old was a game winner at Southwell last time, after comfortably winning over course and distance on his previous run. He gets in here on bottom-weight and looks the one to be on. Polar Force has been doing all of his recent racing on the turf and has managed victories at Redcar and Yarmouth. This is his first visit to Wolverhampton, but he has gone well at Lingfield in the past and should make his presence felt. Summer Recluse has a modest strike rate but should be suited by this drop back to five furlongs. Best of the remainder could be Ryedane, but He's A Rocket is hard to ignore in this mood and this one gets the vote.
