        Verdict

        BAAN won a similar contest under today's amateur at Lingfield earlier this month. Only 2lb higher and with this longer trip not a problem, James Eustace's charge can follow-up. Squad and Honoured dead-heated for third a long way behind the selection last time with Mustajed even further back and Resplendent Ace looks a bigger threat. The latter went close over 2m here a fortnight ago, but the C&D winner should be thereabouts again today, with Turjuman looking best of the remainder.
