In depth

Verdict

A Listed winner and a respectable sixth in the 1000 Guineas, MAJEYDA returns for her first start since June. It's unlikely she'll be wanting for fitness and can take advantage of today's favourable terms. Penny Drops usually gives her best at this level but that hasn't been quite good enough so far and the four-year-old Badr Al Badoor is preferred after a good effort at Kempton. The remainder have plenty to find at the weights including winning handicappers Khatiba and Maggie Pink with Stosur also looking up against it.
