    Verdict

In the nursey, Estimator gets the call ahead of Bertie Swift and Billy Ruffian. Estimator won well on his Kempton maiden debut and, in a race that lacks strength, is the obvious option. The pick of Bertie Swift's Turf efforts are reasonable enough and a good run is not ruled out on his all-weather debut. Billy Ruffian was beaten off his revised mark last time, while Pat Will's win came in a Leicester seller and he is another making his all-weather debut. Stargazy has not yet gone on as hoped for, while Stoneacre Garth is another that has not gone on as hoped for which, in turn, returns us to the selection, Estimator.
