In depth
Verdict
This could concern the two previous scorers Writ and Ektimaal and we will side with the latter, Dapple Dawn may do best of the others. The selection is chasing a hat-trick following two game victories over a similar trip at Kempton. He is making his Wolverhampton debut, but it shouldn't be a problem and with the handicapper being pretty lenient a big run is expected. Writ showed tremendous courage to win over course and distance last time but a six pound penalty may just stop his follow up bid. Dapple Dawn has been running over longer trips and just tiring in the closing stages, so this drop to seven looks ideal and she looks set for some place money. The pick of the others could be Le Chiffre, but Ektimaal has more scope than most of these and he gets our vote.
