      Verdict

      PATEGONIA was sent off odds-on over 7f at Lingfield last time but found one too good. He's likely to prove a warm order again in this, however, as he still had a subsequent winner behind and will appreciate the extra distance. Stormbound went close in a handicap at Lingfield on his latest start and that's much stronger form than Merrjanah's recent second at this track but Irish import Pacific Ridge could prove a threat on his debut for a new yard. Exclusive Predator posted a better effort here last time and looks best of the rest.
