Verdict
Deep Impression, a winner at Southwell and Beverley, has never run on this surface but looks versatile enough to give a good account. Tricolore showed plenty of potential last summer and could be on a fair mark while Liberated Lad was having only his fourth start when landing a Lingfeld handicap and a 3lb rise isn't insurmountable. Sergeant Major went up 6lb for scoring at Chelmsford then found 1m4f stretching his stamina at Newcastle. ARTHUR'S ANGEL ran well on his previous two starts here before an unlucky run on the track on Saturday where he was denied a clear run at a crucial stage. Successful at Chelmsford, Laura Pearson's claim can help him get back to winning ways.
