In depth

Verdict

DIAMONDHEAD will need to step up on his previous efforts on Polytrack but this is only his third start on the all-weather. A winner at Ayr a fortnight ago, he'll go very close with a similar effort here. Fathsta failed to land the odds in a Catterick seller last time and is not one to trust while Point North won in soft ground at Nottingham in May but is 10lb higher than his earlier win over track and trip. Dominium and Going French are others to consider on earlier placed efforts on this surface.
