In depth
Verdict
Maverik beat Postscript a neck at Leicester recently but is penalised and the latter may well turn the tables on better terms. The Great Gabrial is up a further 5lb for winning at Southwell in June and unsuitable ground was put forward as an excuse for Mubtadi finishing last at Newbury back in April. MAZAAHER won over track and trip earlier in the month and is raised only 3lb for that success, Barry Hills' colt may well go in again. Ty Gwr makes his belated seasonal debut off a 7lb higher mark than when second at Doncaster in October and has the Cambridgeshire as his target.
