Verdict
IOANNOU finished a lot closer over 6f here last time without ever looking like winning. Breeding suggests he'll be much better over today's trip and further and he gets the speculative vote in a poor maiden. Back For Tea was well beaten in a handicap earlier this week and drops back in distance while Morna's Glory finished runner-up at Catterick in August and should figure with a similar effort. Lieutenant Dan is another with claims in this company and Bestfootforward won't have to improve that much on a modest debut at Lingfield to get involved.
