        Verdict

MCCOOL BANNANAS ran green on his recent debut over C&D but showed enough to suggest he can win a race of this nature. He finished fourth, a length behind Scoglio, on that occasion but James Unett's charge is expected to improve past today's rival with that experience under his belt. Valdaw should have come on for his recent reappearance at Lingfield, while Beach Babe may do better for the shorter trip but it's hard to fancy any of the remainder on what little they've shown so far.
