Verdict
A wide-open claimer and only a tentative vote goes to RED CAPE. He's not been at his best on the turf of late but will go close dropped into this grade if running anywhere near the level of July's win at Newcastle. Piddie's Power is also dropped in class and Efistorm arrives in great heart having landed a recent hat-trick on the turf. Brynfa Boy has been threatening to get his head back in front at this track recently, while Kempton winner Magic Cross would have been the selection with a better draw. Cavitie had stablemate Orpenindeed behind when scoring over 7f here earlier in the month and both could figure if in the mood.
