In depth

Verdict

Folies Bergeres hasn’t figured over 2m recently but was beaten only a neck over track and trip before that. Contingency Fee went close over 2m at Chelmsford last time and isn’t out of this while Anna Jammeela posted her best effort so far when runner-up over a shorter trip at Yarmouth. But COSMOGYRAL just failed to catch the winner over 1m4f here on her latest start and with this extra distance not a problem, she can go one better and open her account. Jenny Ren and Thistimelastyear have both won over shorter distances this year with the latter back on a winning mark if an apprentice’s allowance is taken into consideration.
