Verdict
The curtain comes down at Dunstall Park with a low grade affair and the TEAMtalk preference is for Sal's Gal. Peter Makin's filly comes here in top form having stayed on dourly to land a 5f handicap on the all-weather track at Southwell. The daughter of Efisio stays 6f well on turf and gives every impression there is more to come over this longer trip so she may well be able to defy a subsequent 5lb rise. Bella Beguine has more to do after lifting a weak Southwell maiden last time while Yavari returns from a near three-month absence. There is little between Summer Shades and Blue Mystique at the revised terms having finished first and second respectively over the course and distance in September but the former is now 8lb higher and the latter has not been seen out since so may need the outing.
