        Verdict

        James Caird, Atlantic Quest and Kildare Sun are three against the field in a wide open contest and the narrow vote is given to James Caird. The selection has dropped to a handy mark hails from a yard in top form and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Atlantic Quest rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Cusoon but he has been done no favours by the draw. Kildare Sun has been in good form of late but ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him last time out. Of the remainder Consonant has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner, we return to James Caird.
