      Verdict

      RAVI RIVER is the form pick to get his head in front in this handicap with both Dvinsky and Epic Odyssey worth noting. The selection has been knocking on the door of late and has been unlucky not to have won. He caught the eye here over three furlongs further than todays trip on his penultimate start. He then showed his versatility when going close at Kempton over seven furlongs showing real speed. He steps back down to six today which he has never done before but if he runs up to his recent form he has to go close again. Dvinsky has had more runs than most but continues to run well. He was back in the winners enclosure at Kempton back in October and has since run well in defeat so warrants respect. Epic Odyssey finished last of four on Sunday but had shown some better form prior to that when second at Great Leighs. If he can put his recent poor run behind him he could be in the shake up. However for the winner we return to Ravi River.
