Verdict
Another wide open handicap. Polka's Daughter has been in good form of late and was a good winner over course and distance last time out when defeating Non Ultra. She looked ahead of the handicapper and although she has again risen in the weights she will be hard to beat. Essequibo won a claimer in good style at Southwell last time out, but this looks more competitive. Yellow River was a good second behind Mulan Princess over this trip last time out and a reproduction of that effort will see him go close. Mandarin Spirit is a lightly raced sort from a shrewd yard and any market move could be significant. Magic Mamma's Too was second behind Hugh The Man in a maiden last time out and could be well in off this mark on her handicap debut. Tough Nut is a course and distance winner who has a chance on his best form but he ran as if in the handicappers grip last time out. Of the remainder Victory Flip who ran well last time could go well at a big price off what looks a fair mark.
