Verdict
Fiveoclock Express took advantage of a favourable mark to win a similar contest over course and distance last time and in a more competitive contest looks worth taking on which we do with Gallery Breeze, who is preferred to Buscador. The last mentioned is well treated on official BHB ratings but has disappointed in two starts since springing a surprise in a handicap over course and distance last month. Dream Magic has claims on his best but has failed to sparkle in two starts on sand this winter and may struggle to concede weight away all round. Pawn In Life bounced back to form when landing a handicap here last time but needs to improve again to follow up at these weights, while Caroubier has given little sign of encouragement of late. Paul Blockley's Blue Empire has been given a chance by his trainer off his weight but preference is for stablemate Gallery Breeze, who has been running with some consistency in better races than this and is taken to make the most of the weight that she receives
