      Verdict

      Clary was placed yet again when second over a mile at Lingfield and ahead of Ixelles Diamond. All four wins last year came over shorter trips while SOUTHERN STORM's win at Kempton last month also came over a mile. A beaten favourite on her handicap debut last time, Ralph Beckett's unexposed filly drops down a grade today and her half-sister scored over middle-distances. Boonga Roogeta has won over 1m2f and is preferred to Kodiac Lady now back on a winning mark.
