In depth

Verdict

Leonor De Soto has been struggling in better company but has shown on her last two starts in selling grade that she is capable of notching a similar event. Mick Channon's filly was a fast finishing runner-up over course and distance last time and can confirm placings with Pertemps Bianca (fifth, beaten five lengths and now 6lb worse) and Essequibo who was beaten seven lengths in sixth and re-opposes on identical terms. However, the latter has since shown some improvement for the fitting of blinds and may get closer with Eddery in the plate. Lady At Leisure is best in at the weights but made little impact on her all-weather debut at Southwell in May and hasn't been seen since so has something to prove although this longer trip should suit.
