Nico de Boinville prefers Johnny Blue, a €70,000 half-brother to four winners, to the Soldier of Fortune filly Military Mistress but Fergal O’Brien’s yard also excel in races of this type and HINT OF SAGE looks a likely type being a full sister to winning hurdler Exmoor Forest. Thirtyfour Thirty is another to consider but is bred for further than this.
