Crystal Rock has so far proven to be disappointing since being sent over hurdles and looks best left out of calculations in a race taken to go to Don McCain's DRILL SERGEANT, who lacks any hurdling experience but showed a decent level of form on the flat for Mark Johnston and he looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account at the first time of asking over timber. Flying Squad ran better at Newton Abbot last time but looks booked for a place at best and a bigger threat is likely to come from Michael Scudamore's Society Venue, who has found one too good in each of his last two starts and should be thereabouts again. Whatdoyoucallit is another worthy of a mention but if Drill Sergeant can reproduce flat form over hurdles, he will be tough to beat.
