Particle is preferred to Glen Rouge and Picabo Kid. The selection has a major question to answer with regard to his stamina but well put our trust in his trainer and take him to land the spoils. He stepped up on his previous form on his handicap bow in quite an interesting race at Sandown and may well have had his mark preserved for a summer campaign. Picabo Kid left previous efforts behind to win at Huntingdon and is only 5lbs higher whilst Job One showed improved form when stepped up in trip last time and could also figure. Arceye reverts to hurdling after a good spell over fences, Coeur D'Alene is better than he showed last time and Choumakeur can't be left out of calculations. A market move for Amarillo Slim would be interesting but one with more obvious claims is Glen Rouge whose chance is hard to crab; our vote, though, goes the way of Particle.
