In depth

Verdict

COACH LANE can be hard to get right but he seems to be in a touch of form at the moment so we'll try to catch him while we can in this Handicap Chase with Benefit Game and Quel Bruere looking real dangers. The pick finally took advantage of a low looking mark to score with a bit in hand at Uttoxeter last time. That ended a long losing run but with just 5lbs extra to carry and having also found just the one the better two starts back a bold bid is expected. Benefit Game is a former course and distance winner and was expected to go better last time when trying to land a four timer. Ultimately he was well held off this mark when failing in that attempt but the step down in trip may help. Quel Bruere was a very easy winner on his chasing bow last time and while based on that he is still fairly weighted the ground may be on the quick side for him. My Condor receives weight from all and off this mark really should be going well but Coach Lane is on form and we hope for more.
