In depth

Verdict

Factotum continues to disappoint, despite heading the weights, while Clever Dick is thrust straight into handicap company for his chasing bow by David Pipe. He's always looked a chaser in the making and may well be good enough but he's hard to evaluate having yet to jump a fence in public, though Paddy Brennan is an interesting jocey booking. Jacko's Boy has plenty of chasing experience but might need this first run since November and JOLIBOB is a hopeful alternative. His best effort over fences came last time when third in a modest Fontwell contest at this trip and he could improve on that off this lowly weight if ridden with a little more restraint. Kirbys Glen also has place claims.
