Verdict

From last year's successful yard, O'CALLAGHAN STRAND never really threatened at Bangor last month but still finished ahead of Nikos Extra and is now on a lower mark than when scoring at Ludlow last year. A visor may wake his ideas up a little and, with McCoy preferring him to stablemate Amuse Me, he's probably worth another chance. Veloce is thrown into a handicap after just two runs over fences. He's well treated on his hurdles form and can't be ignored while Cartmel second Guanciale is interesting nearer the foot of the weights. It's a while since Kelso third Peachey Moment won but he's on a very attractive mark nowadays and should give a good account.
