Verdict

HALLINGS COMET won on the Flat last year and returned to winning ways over hurdles with a course and distance success. He can confirm running with fourth-placed Solstalla and go in again. A Montmartre won at Taunton earlier and was still in contention when falling at Perth last time but Desertmore Hill is upped in class after scoring over fences here recently and has yet to win over timber. Thundering Home was in good form earlier this year but has struggled since winning at Exeter in April.
