In depth

Verdict

Wolftrap almost followed up his Newton Abbot victory with another at Chepstow and has found some form. Bonobo got up close home to beat the odds-on Dispour at Newton Abbot and also goes on the short-list. Desert Recluse was far from disgraced in a higher grade at Cheltenham last time but still finished behind GLOBAL THRILL. The latter didn’t get much luck in-running and the rains may have arrived just in time for the seven-year-old. Destiny's Gold and Northern Meeting may be best of the rest as Alberta is proving difficult to place.
