In depth

Verdict

Excellent Team finally got his head in front in a handicap at Fontwell last month but has a penalty to carry back in novice company. Lostock Hall also 7lb extra after getting off the mark in a maiden hurdle at Stratford and their pair may find the concession of weight to PETER THE MAYO MAN beyond them. The latter hasn't been seen since failing to land the odds at Bangor in March but he would take all the beating if anywhere near the form he showed when fourth at Doncaster on his hurdles bow having arrived from Ireland with a tall reputation. Baby Sherlock may be capable of better but the others appear to have little to recommend them.
