Verdict
MADEEH was no match for the odds-on Oslo at Market Rasen but finished well clear of the remainder and the winner has won a handicap since. Phil Kirby’s gelding wasn’t disgraced on the Flat last month and gets a tentative vote in this with Windy Cove granted an easy lead at Warwick last time and now 5lb higher. Beat The Heat has gone up 9lb for easily winning a similar event at Fontwell but can’t be ignored while Mcpherson produced his best run to date when third at Ludlow. Chess Player has placed twice over timber but is now 0-19 in career starts.
