In depth

Verdict

This is quite competitive though it is hard to make a serious case for Black Scorpion and Princeton Royale may be getting a bit long in the tooth. Whoshotwho was a bit disappointing over 3m at Perth while Monsieur Gibraltar has done most of his winning in hunter chases. BUSTER THOMAS didn’t really handle the tight turns around Fakenham last time and will be more at home here. He’s been dropped another 2lb so is well treated nowadays. Danse Idol is a tough mare capable of a bold showing and Ready And Able can’t get much lower in the weights and also has a chance.
