    Verdict

MIDNIGHT FUN is asked a considerable question off topweight but unlike most of his rivals he arrives in tip-top form, having scored with something to spare at Uttoxeter and Southwell recently. He gets this trip well and handles good ground. Neil Mulholland has had a quiet summer but Gallimaufry should give a good account if ready on his first outing since a decent effort when runner-up in a long distance Hereford handicap back in April. She has only six races on the board over timber so should still be capable of further improvement off a fair mark. Neither Dunbrody House nor King Benny have been in anything like fair form of late but both are attractively treated and any semblance of their best would see them involved.
