Verdict

Mister Matt often blazes a trail and will strip fitter for a run over hurdles but he is better over shorter trips. Rouge Et Blanc struggles to get his head in front but Malibu Sun has had no such problem lately and is now chasing a four-timer. He's shot up the weights, however, and is also tackling better horses. VELATOR has hardly covered himself with glory over the last 12 months but was just beaten at Cheltenham in April last year off a similar mark and still has time on his side. He can make the most of the 6lb he receives from course and distance winner Lost Legend.
