Verdict

GWILI SPAR has shown up well on all three starts this term and is taken to post a first success under Rules on the back of those solid efforts in the hope that the drop in trip will not inconvenience. Already on a workable mark, the 10lb claim of his promising conditional could prove the determining factor. Iguacu went well last time and should be on the premises but My Nosy Rosy looks the main one to threaten, having looked an improved performer since joining Ben Case and the booking of the champion jockey obviously rates a major plus. Kruseman scored over course and distance last month and ran well back here last time behind Midnight Thomas. He's going the right way, albeit at a modest level, and completes the short-list.
