In depth
Verdict
Plenty of newcomers in this bumper contest, Square Mile takes the eye as it¿s always worth noting the trainers that tend to do well in these events. Jonjo O¿Neill and AP McCoy will be a force to look out for during the coming season and always deserve respect in bumpers. Square Mile is bound to know it¿s job first timeof asking and could prove difficult to beat. Nigel Twiston-Davies is another trainer who does well in these events and trains Karakar. Bred by the Aga Khan with plenty of flat pedigree to his name, he will be fit, again know his job and will be worth monitoring in the market. Of those that have run before Murhill¿s Pride looks the most likely sort. He managed to finish second in a Ludlow bumper back in October and although beaten a fair way proved he has ability, however fitness is not on his side and others are preferred. To conclude then Square Mile is taken to win on first time of asking.
