In depth

Verdict

Captain Ivan was beaten a long way into third at Fakenham but Flat winner EDINBURGH CASTLE (NAP) ran very well at Uttoxeter and may have been involved in the finish but for being slightly impeded at the last. He should be good enough for this though Our Colossus has had wind surgery since finishing last when strongly fancied for a Huntingdon bumper. Sharp Suited is fit from the Flat though has only won on Tapeta while Zayriyan's only victory in 40 came on Polytrack. Ottavio, a winner on the Flat in France, is one to note for his new yard.
