Gurteenoona can get the better of Runaround Sue and Native City in the finale. He has plenty of weight to carry but he's a strapping sort who should be able to carry it and his young pilot is good value for his claim. Ian Williams' charge relished the stiffer test of stamina to run out a ready winner from some useful sorts at Uttoxeter and that form suggests that he's well in under his penalty. Native City benefited from a vintage McCoy ride to defeat Changing Lanes last time but he has gone up by 9lbs for that success and connections have looked to their conditional to reduce his burden. Runaround Sue returned a beaten favourite over course and distance last time but may not have been suited by the rain softened ground and could fare better back on a firmer surface. Wild Tonto is well worth a market check as he has his first run for a new yard whilst Star Of Germany couldn't be confidently dismissed but it's Gurteenoona that gets the vote.
